Job Summary
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users within the organization. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT resources, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a strong technical background and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsabilities
- Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to clients, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems through various channels, including by phone, email, and remote access.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and backups to ensure system integrity and security.
- User Assistance: Assist users with the setup, configuration, and use of computers, mobile devices, and other technology tools.
- Security Compliance: Ensure adherence to IT security policies and best practices, including antivirus management and data protection.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support company-wide initiatives and projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business software applications.
- Experience with network administration and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
